The link https://www.uscis.gov/forms-updates lists updates to forms as USCIS publishes them, along with a brief explanation of the nature of the update. For forms updates older than 5 years, see USCIS Archive.

Until further notice, employers should continue using Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. This current version of the form continues to be effective even after the Office of Management and Budget control number expiration date of March 31, 2016, has passed. USCIS will provide updated information about the new version of Form I-9 as it becomes available.

USCIS recently updated Form N-600K, Application for Citizenship and Issuance of Certificate Under Section 322. The new edition is dated 07/11/16. USCIS will also accept the 05/03/13 edition.

USCIS no longer requires refugees applying for adjustment of status under section 209 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to file Form I-643, Health and Human Services Statistical Data for Refugee/Asylee Adjusting Status. USCIS has updated Volume 7, Adjustment of Status, Part L, Refugee Adjustment, Chapter 4, Documentation and Evidence of the USCIS Policy Manual to reflect the removal of this requirement.

USCIS published new editions of Form G-1041, Genealogy Index Search Request, and Form G-1041A, Genealogy Records Request. The new edition date for both forms is 05/19/16. Starting 08/08/2016, USCIS will only accept the 05/19/16 editions. Until then, you can continue to use the 12/17/12 editions.

USCIS posted an updated edition of Form I-131, Application for Travel Document. The new edition is dated 05/03/16. USCIS will also accept the 01/22/16 and 03/22/13 edition.

USCIS posted updated editions to the following forms:

USCIS updated Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. The new edition is dated 04/28/16. The old edition11/20/15 edition also still accepted.

USCIS published an updated edition of Form N-300, Application to File Declaration of Intention. The new edition is dated 03/30/16. Starting 7/15/16, USCIS will only accept the 03/30/16 edition. Until then, you can use the 03/21/13 edition.

On April 21, 2016, USCIS began allowing petitioners who filed Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, requesting an extension of status or change of employer to submit an inquiry after their petition has been pending for 210 days or more. This inquiry may be based on the petition being outside of normal processing times.
