Texas Service Center Moving to New Address on June 26

On June 26, the Texas Service Center will move to a new address. Although the move is scheduled for June 26, USCIS cannot accept mail at the new address until Monday, June 29. The new facility will help streamline processes by consolidating operations in the new location. The Texas Service Center will continue to provide prompt and efficient service in processing requests for immigration benefits. The updated address for the service center will be:

Texas Service Center to Begin Processing Form I-129 for L Visas

On February 12, 2018, the Texas Service Center (TSC) will begin processing certain Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker petitions for L nonimmigrant classification, also known as L visas. The TSC will share this workload with the California Service Center to balance workloads and to provide flexibility as USCIS works towards improving processing times and efficiency. The Vermont Service Center will no longer process any new Form I‑129 petitions requesting L nonimmigrant classification. 

Intake of Petitions, Applications, and Other Benefit Requests at the Texas Service Center

On May 28, 2024, the intake of petitions, applications, and other benefit requests at the Texas Service Center was temporarily suspended due to widespread and severe weather.  In most instances, courier services will re-attempt delivery once the Texas Service Center re-opens; no further action from petitioners or applicants is required.  If your petition or application is returned to you, you should refile at your earliest convenience. Petitioners or applicants affected by the intake disruption or by severe weather may request 

USCIS Potomac Service Center Will No Longer Accept Paper Responses

Release Date 

As of Aug. 21, 2023, the Potomac Service Center (PSC) has begun to move to a new facility in Camp Springs, MD, and can no longer receive paper responses to correspondence such as Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID), Notices of Intent to Revoke (NOIR), Intents to Deny (ITD), Requests for Evidence (RFE) or supporting documentation for filings currently pending at the PSC.
