L-1 A CLASSIFICATIONS
We charge the same fees for new cases and extensions.
The fee schedule for L-1A classification (fees are payable by personal or corporate checks) is as follows: 

1. If petition is by way of premium processing, then the total filing fees would be $1,550 of which $325 should be paid by corporate or personal checks and made payable to "Department of Homeland Security". The remaining $1,225 can also be paid by personal or corporate checks. This $1,225 should be payable to "Department of Homeland Security". Please note that this should be made payable in 2 separate checks.

2. The $500 Fraud Prevention and Detection fee made payable to the "Department of Homeland Security. This fee will be applicable to:
a) All initial L-1A petitions;
b) Transfers from one employer to another; and
c) Change of Status to L-1A
This $500 Fraud Prevention and Detection fee can be a personal/corporate check made payable to “Department of Homeland Security”.

Please note, if the L-1A is likely to be complicated, we may charge higher amounts for legal fees.  

1. Legal fees (for our Office):   $2,200 payable at the commencement of the case
Legal fees For Start Up Companies payable to our office: $3,200
2. Filing fees (to the USCIS, Form I-129)
  Regular Processing:   $325
  Premium Processing:   $1550 ( $325 for regular processing + additional $1225, read item 1 above for details on payment by checks)
3. Federal Express Expenses: approx. $100

 

L-1B CLASSIFICATIONS

The fee schedule for L-1B classification (fees are payable by personal or corporate checks) is as follows: 

 1. If petition is by way of premium processing, then the total filing fees would be $1,550 of which $325 should be paid by corporate or personal checks and made payable to "Department of Homeland Security". The remaining $1,225 can also be paid by personal or corporate checks. This $1,225 should be payable to "Department of Homeland Security". Please note that this should be made payable in 2 separate checks.

2. The $500 Fraud Prevention and Detection fee made payable to the "Department of Homeland Security. This fee will be applicable to:
a) All initial L-1B petitions;
b) Transfers from one employer to another; and
c) Change of Status to L-1B

Note 1:  If the L-1B is likely to be complicated, we may charge higher amounts for legal fees.

AND

3)      IF YOU ARE A COMPANY WITH 50 OR MORE EMPLOYEES AND MORE THAN 50% OF YOUR EMPLOYEES IS IN H-1 OR L-1/L-2 STATUS:
A CHECK FOR $2,250.00 MADE PAYABLE TO THE “Department Of Homeland Security”.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CHECK MUST BE A CORPORATE CHECK.

Note 3:On Aug. 13, 2010, President Obama signed into law Public Law 111-230, which contains provisions to increase certain L-1 petition fees with immediate effect for cases postmarked on or after Aug. 14, 2010, and it will remain in effect through Sept. 30, 2014.  

These additional fees apply to petitioners who employ 50 or more employees in the United States with more than 50 percent of its employees in the United States in H-1B or L (including L-1A, L-1B and L-2) nonimmigrant status.  Petitioners meeting the following criteria must submit the additional fee of $2,250.00 with their L-1 petitions:

- All initial L-1 petitions; or
- Transfers from one employer to another; and
- Change of Status toL-1

1.   Legal fees (for our Office): $2,800 payable at the commencement of the case
  Legal Fees for Start Up Companies payable to our office: $3,200
2.   Filing fees (to the USCIS, Form I-129) :

  Regular Processing - $325

  Premium Processing - $1550 ($325 for regular processing + additional $1225, read item 1 above for details on payment by checks)

3.   Federal Express Expenses: approx. $100

 

Blanket L-1 CLASSIFICATIONS

The fee schedule for Blanket L-1 classification (fees are payable by personal or corporate checks) is as follows: 

1.  Legal fee (for our Office):  $2200
2.  USCIS filing fee:  $325
3.  Fraud Prevention and Detection fee:  $500
4.  Premium processing fee:  $1225

 

L-2 CLASSIFICATIONS

The fee schedule for L-2 classification (fees are payable by personal or corporate checks) is as follows: 

1.  Legal fees (for our Office): $800.00 for an independent L-2 payable at the commencement of the case
   $300.00 for an L-2 application filed with an L-1 application
2.  Filing fees (to the USCIS, Form I-539): $290.00
3.  Federal Express Expenses: approx. $70.00
