How have the funds received from the premium
processing program been used and the kind of infrastructure and
workforce improvements that have been “enabled” by the funds.
The funds have been allocated for two primary areas – for
the development and implementation of a replacement case management system
for Claims and for backlog reduction positions.
According to sources more than one service center has returned
filings for incorrect fees when INS has said that both the old fees and
new fees would be accepted.
ISD confirms that old and new fees are acceptable.
