OFLC processes labor certification applications for employers seeking to bring foreign workers into the United States and grants certifications in those cases where employers can demonstrate that there are not sufficient U.S. workers available, willing and qualified to perform the work at wages that meet or exceed the prevailing wage paid for the occupation in the area of intended employment.

Audit and Supervised Recruitment Tiers for PERM Applicatons

The Atlanta NPC Team will implement the following plan to induct applications filed into Audit Review and tag cases for possible Supervised Recruitment. This version of the plan has identified 8 criterions that specify types of cases that will be targeted for Audit Review and tagged for possible Supervised Recruitment.

Office of Foreign Labor Certification Postpones Date for Submitting Revised PERM and CW-1 Forms in the Foreign Labor Application Gateway to June 1, 2023

Following up on the announcements of April 21, April 27, May 1, and May 8, 2023, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) is postponing the date for filers to begin submitting the new, revised applications for permanent employment certification and CW-1 applications for temporary employment certification in the Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) from May 16, 2023, to June 1, 2023. Applicants should continue to use the current PERM and CW-1 forms until such time.
